Coca-Cola, the iconic beverage that has become a symbol of refreshment and happiness, was created in 1886 by pharmacist John S. Pemberton in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Pemberton's original intention was to develop a medicinal tonic, and he combined coca leaves and kola nuts to create the first batch of Coca-Cola syrup. The name "Coca-Cola" was suggested by Pemberton's bookkeeper, Frank M. Robinson, who also designed the iconic script logo that remains unchanged to this day. The syrup was mixed with carbonated water, and the resulting drink was sold at a local pharmacy's soda fountain, quickly gaining popularity for its unique and delightful taste. As the demand grew, the Coca-Cola Company was founded in 1892, and the beverage was soon bottled and distributed across the United States. Over the years, Coca-Cola has evolved into one of the world's most recognized and beloved brands, expanding its reach to almost every corner of the globe, with millions of beverages consumed daily.
